Three MCS Students Participate In Holocaust Contest at Chapman University

Students in Tami Thurston’s eighth-grade class have been learning about the Holocaust and three students actually got to meet survivors of the atrocities perpetrated against Jewish people in Germany and Poland during World War II.

MCS eighth-graders get historic tour of Washington D.C.

Mariners Christian School eighth-graders are in the middle of an eight-day tour of the nation’s capitol to see such sites at the Supreme Court, the Lincoln Memorial and even the White House. Arriving in Washington D.C. on Thursday, the MCS pupils spent that day and Friday at Virginia’s Historic Triangle of Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown.
